Statutory Declarations

A Statutory Declaration is a written statement of fact that is normally signed in the presence of a Solicitor or a Notary Public and this is a function that we can assist you with. The document will be signed by you, in the presence of the notary public, which we will then sign, stamp and seal to ensure it meets with the approval of the recipient. Below are some examples, which describe where we can be of some assistance to you: -

  • To attend a specific primary school or obtain a placement
  • Name was inadvertently changed on a Passport
  • Authority and Entrustment, granted for the purpose of a child's trip abroad
  • To exclude an estranged spouse from Visa application o Declaration for entry clearance purposes
  • To provide details of current address etc. to obtain new Passport from abroad to replace passport which is about to expire, lost or stolen
  • For the Passport Office to re-issue applicants Passport in using the applicants' full name
  • Transferred of half share of property to another person without any consideration being paid and with no financial payment being made to the applicant who is financially solvent
  • To confirm an English translation of a foreign name for passport application
  • Stolen Drivers Licence and incident reported to the relevant authorities, e.g. Police
  • Regarding enquiries made by Local Authority in respect of application for Housing and Council Tax Benefits
  • To allow spouse to retain all income derived from the renting out of heritable property
  • To confirm the sublet of a business and that new tenant will be responsible for the utility bills etc
  • Spelling mistake on Naturalisation certificate
  • For a relative to visit the UK and stay with someone for the duration of their visit
  • To explain the circumstances regarding the theft of a Passport
  • Change of surname
  • Pawn-receipt given to a person who has taken an article in pawn, under a regulated consumer credit agreement, is not in the possession of the claimant
  • Sufficient financial resources to cover living in the UK and not to become a burden on the UK's social assistance system during period of stay in the UK, E.G as a visitor or student
  • Statutory Declaration as confirmation that someone renounces and gives up any entitlement to an inheritance of any property from abroad
  • To move a Pension Fund
  • To confirm someone's Civil Status, namely, unmarried and have no spouse or civil partner
  • To confirm in good health and have never suffered from any serious illnesses
  • To confirm never been married and know of no legal impediment which would prevent someone from being married
  • Authority for your child to accompany spouse/family member etc. on a visit abroad for the purposes of a holiday or to meet family etc
  • Declaration for right of transfer of exclusive right of burial
